Refunds & Returns

You have 30 days from the delivery date of your order to return items purchased online, as long as you meet the conditions outlined in this Returns and Exchanges section. Depending on the purchase method, we will refund the full face value of undamaged items returned (excluding original delivery or COD charges) to you via credit card or online credits.

Once the return has been completed, you will receive an email confirmation. If you have not received your refund in your account after 14 days, please show the confirmation to your bank so that they can assist you and expedite the process.

Return Process

Online purchase can be returned in one of three ways:

You are contacting 800 GAP ME (80042763) to arrange for a free item collection from your Kuwait delivery address.
If the returned item is damaged, the original invoice value will not be refunded.

Refunds Process

Refunds (excluding any delivery or Cash on Delivery charges) will be issued using the same payment method used to make the purchase, except orders paid for with Cash on Delivery, for which refunds will be issued by crediting you online credits rather than cash.
Bank Card purchases (Credit/Debit) will be refunded to the same bank card (credit/debit) used to make the original purchase.
Depending on your credit card provider, these should be reflected on your card within 3-5 working days. Online credits will be applied as soon as the refund is confirmed.

Refunds will be from the purchase location with a card and online credit OR amber rewards points.

Please keep in mind that if you purchased with a card and online credit, Gap Kuwait would first refund any Amber reward points you used, then any online credits you used, and finally, if there is any money left over, we will refund the bank card you used to make the purchase.

Exchanges

The original item must be refunded to exchange an item, and a new order and purchase must be processed for the replacement item. The refund mentioned above terms shall apply to any refunds made for exchanged items.

General Conditions For All Refunds & Exchange

All items (including promotional gift items included with the order) must be returned to Gap within 30 days of Order receipt, unaltered, unused, and in fully sellable condition (or the condition in which they were received from Gap or its agents).
Shoes must be in their original packaging/box/dust-cover, with all brand and product labels/tags/instructions still attached. Authenticity cards, if provided, should be returned as well. Swimwear and underwear must have the original hygiene liner attached.
Gap does not accept returns on the following products: those sold in Gap Outlet Stores, those sold in Gap stores outside of Kuwait, those not purchased through the Website, and those sold on other Al Tayer Group websites. Gift items can be returned by calling the call center, but only if a gift receipt is provided.
Gap reserves the right to monitor returns and refuses orders from customers with a high return rate. However, nothing in this Returns section is intended to affect any consumer rights you may have under Kuwaiti law.

Delivery And Shipping

GAP currently only ships orders placed through the website/website call center to addresses in Kuwait. FREE delivery on orders over 25 KWD, but 1 KWD fee for all orders under 25 KWD. Cash on Delivery Service is available for all orders in Kuwait.

Delivery and Click & Collect:

Gap Kuwait is strongly committed to delivering within the time frames estimated in our all order confirmation or displayed on the Website or above; these time frames are only estimates. Time will not be considered an issue. Timelines begin with the confirmation of an order. However, they’ll issue a full refund if Gap doesn’t deliver your order within 30 days of confirmation.

Gap Kuwait is not liable for failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as when you are unavailable to accept your order or request a postponement. It is your responsibility to ensure adequate access for deliveries, including, but not limited to, Fridays.
