What 10% off means on eyewear in dirhams

Glasses are one of the bigger single purchases you make online, so a percentage code adds up quickly:

• A pair of sunglasses at AED 600: V1 takes off AED 60, so you pay AED 540.
• Designer frames at AED 1,200: V1 takes off AED 120, so you pay AED 1,080.
• Two pairs in one order at AED 1,800: V1 takes off AED 180, so you pay AED 1,620.

Delivery on the UAE site is free, so the figure in the discount line is your full saving. If you pay cash on delivery, Magrabi adds a AED 10 charge, which is not covered by the code.

How to apply V1 on the UAE site

1. Open magrabi.com and make sure the UAE store is selected (the address shows /ae-en/ for English).
2. Pick your eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses or accessories and add them to the basket.
3. Go to checkout and enter a UAE delivery address, or choose Click and Collect at a UAE store.
4. Type V1 in the promo code field and apply it.
5. Check that 10% has come off the total, then pay.

If the code does not apply, check that the UAE store is selected and not another country’s site. Each country has its own site and its own prices.

What you can buy from Magrabi in the UAE

• Eyeglasses and sunglasses from brands such as Ray-Ban, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Bvlgari and Giorgio Armani.
• Magrabi’s own labels: Leila & Leila, i-clinic, Eye’M, Monostrom and SPIN ON8, which tend to sit at lower price points.
• Contact lenses, clear and coloured, with a reorder option for repeat buyers.
• Accessories such as cases and lens care.

The UAE site also offers a virtual try-on, so you can check a frame shape before you order.

Delivery across the Emirates

Magrabi’s UAE shipping page sets out three speeds, all with free shipping and no minimum order:

• Express in Dubai: delivery in about 90 minutes for orders placed before 5:00 PM.
• Same day in Dubai free zones, Deira, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ajman for orders placed before 12:00 PM.
• Standard to the rest of the UAE in 1 to 2 days.

Deliveries run from 9:00 am to 11:59 pm. Prescription glasses need extra working days because the lenses are made to order, and timings can stretch a little during sales and public holidays.

Paying, returns and eye tests

The UAE site shows Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Tabby at checkout, and cash on delivery is available for the AED 10 fee mentioned above. You can return products within 14 days of delivery. Magrabi does not do exchanges online: you return the item, get a refund and place a new order. Contact lenses and prescription (ophthalmic) lenses cannot be returned, so double check your prescription before you pay.

If you need a new prescription first, you can book an eye test online and choose a UAE store, date and time. Magrabi also offers a paid Eye Wellness Assessment (AED 150) in Dubai, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. The code is for online orders; ask in store how in-store services are priced.

Ways to save more at Magrabi UAE

• Buy two pairs in one order so V1 works on the larger total.
• Look at Magrabi’s own labels if you want designer style at a lower base price.
• Pay by card or Apple Pay to avoid the AED 10 cash on delivery charge.
• Check the site around UAE National Day, when Magrabi runs a dedicated eyewear sale page.
